"We are determined to complete the war in all arenas, including by disarming Hamas and demilitarizing the Gaza Strip," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his government is "determined to complete the war in all arenas," while addressing the Gush Etzion junction terror attack on Tuesday.
"Today we experienced another Palestinian terror attack," he said during a ceremony unveiling a Torah in honour of the fallen soldier Maj. (Res.) Moshe Yedidya Leiter, who was killed during the combats at the beginning of the Gaza war in November 2023.
"We are determined to complete the war in all arenas, including by disarming Hamas and demilitarizing the Gaza Strip," Netanyahu added.
One person was killed and three others were wounded in the attack. Kiryat Arba resident Aharon Cohen, 70, was identified as the slain Israeli.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad took credit for the attack and congratulated the terrorists in a social media post. They also called on Palestinians to escalate their attacks against Israelis.

The other three victims were: one woman in her 40s, who was severely wounded, a 30-year-old, and a 15-year-old, who were moderately wounded in the attack.
Cohen, a widower, leaves behind six children and many grandchildren.
Two terrorists arrived in a vehicle at the junction, drove into the civilians standing nearby, then exited the vehicle and attempted to stab them.
They were killed by reservists who happened to be in the area. The terrorists were identified as Ibrahim Imran al-Atrash, 18, from Hebron, and Walid Muhammad Khalil Sabarneh, 18, from Beit Umar, according to the Palestinian Authority’s Health Ministry.
